KITCHEN Design

When it comes to kitchen design what style do you prefer? Modern, classic, eclectic, traditional, dramatic or vintage just to name a few.  Today I found a few kitchens that inspired me.

White Modern Kitchen

This is such a fresh and simple white kitchen. I love the modern look with the royal blue dining chairs that give your eyes a place to land.  The patterned wallpaper table runner is pretty and can be changed out for the occasion.  Don’t forget fresh flowers!

H&H Kitchen

There is something about the casual elegance of this kitchen and I just love it.  Maybe its the mix of the classic look with the dark lower black cabinets against the white counter tops and rustic flooring.  It’s effortless with style.

H&H Turquoise Kitchen

Turquoise anyone?  This eclectic and cheery kitchen is vibrant and colorful.  Why use cabinet doors when you can use a fun patterned wallpaper to jazz up your shelves.

H&H White Kitchen

This kitchen is a great example of an updated traditional look. Even though the kitchen is white it still feels warm with the lighting, table and chairs.

House & Home

Want to go with something more dramatic? Why not try all black cabinetry with light counter tops to achieve this look.  Don’t forget the stainless steel backsplash and the brushed silver modern hardware.

House & Home 2

I couldn’t resist this green kitchen with the eclectic mix of rustic chairs and patterned wallpaper on the ceiling.  The green color is strong yet fresh and the industrial elements around them seem to ground everything.

House Beautiful

If you want something different but still classic try painting your existing cabinetry a color. This kitchen has an updated look but still has a classic feel to it. Try breaking up your counter tops by choosing a different material like a butcher block counter top on the island and a solid color quartz counter top for the rest of the kitchen to make it interesting.
