Colorful Interiors

The September issue of House Beautiful features a 1930″s Long Island home with colorful interiors and dashes of Hollywood Regency and the Far East.  The home owner really pushed for these interiors and I have say I love them all.

House Beautiful Acid Green

I’m loving the acid green walls in this living room designed by interior designer Catherine Brown Paterson

House Beautiful orange-roomThe home office is cheery with bright orange walls with upholstery in Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitzer fabrics for a vibrant vibe.

House Beautiful-pink-room

The dining room is striking with fuchsia chairs and draperies and the Clarence House Flower Quince wallpaper is to die for, love it!

House Beautiful yellow-room-tableThe kitchen is bright with yellow touches as the kitchen cabinets offer a color break to ease the eye. Loving the bamboo ceiling light above the dining table and the bar-stools.

House Beautiful-yellow-bathroom-sinkThe powder room has a citrus-yellow wallpaper in a bamboo print. So pretty and fresh against the dark counter top.

The master bedroom is in a favorite color “aqua” I just can’t seem to tire of it and it makes me happy. I love the darker aqua colors within the room and the window treatment fabric.
