Sugarfina Candy Boutique Design

Sugarfina is a luxury candy shop headquartered in California with locations popping up everywhere.  I recently became a fan when I visited a boutique and tried some of their most popular candies like Sugar Lips, Champagne Bears and the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels.  Not only are the candies and chocolates to die for but the boutique interior designs are adorable.

Design your very own box of candies here.

Retail Store Design Services

Today I’m revealing a commercial design project I finished a few months ago for a local retail pet store and spa.  I have really enjoyed designing for commercial and hospitality projects for years now which was how I originally entered into the world of interior design.  As you can see retail design can be rather fun and whimsical.

Retail Store Cashwrap-Stellar Interior Design

The cash-wrap area is grounded with gray floor tiles and includes a modern white wave tiled counter.  I selected a fun wallpaper for the main focal in this area of the store which features appropriately cute little dog silhouettes.  The color scheme was pulled out of the wallpaper and used for the wall paint and lighting.

Retail Store Entrance-Stellar Interior Design

As you enter into the pet store you have displays to your left and right with a seating area.

Retail Store Waiting-Stellar Interior Design

The waiting area has a durable dark gray loveseat with an animal theme accent table and cute throw pillows.

Retail Store Display-Stellar Design

The main retail display area features a variety of options for merchandising many products.  This project was large and didn’t stop here, eventually I will post more of the dog playrooms, grooming area, dog spa and more so stay tuned.

Retail Boutique Design: New Client Project

Retail Boutique Seating Area

New Client Project: Today I’m sharing a retail boutique design project for a local spa I recently completed with after photos.  My client has a small space and needed to maximize it to it’s fullest potential.  The space needed to include a retail section for skincare, jewelry, a sitting area, spa treatment room with ample storage and a office area.

Retail Boutique BBB 1

For the retail area we added Anthropologie Moresque chairs in the green mixed with blue accent pillows against the warm gray walls. The retail counter is in an antique white finish and the round Doily rug is in a soft gray.

Retail Boutique Counter My client loves an eclectic and antique look so we used alot of brass accents within the retail area for her jewelry, teas and decorative pendant lights.

Retail Boutique BBB 2

This adorable antique brass and mirrored bar cart is used for displaying teas, cups and treats.

Retail Boutique Spa Room

The color palette in the spa treatment room are in warm grays with soft blues and yellows mixed with whites. The window bench seat is custom in a textured warm gray fabric with a mix of accent pillows, jute roman shades and white drapery panels.

NEW CLIENT PROJECT : DESIGN CONCEPT

Retail Boutique Design Concept

Retail Boutique Design Ideas: It’s been a little while since I’ve featured a project so I wanted to share a retail design concept I did for a local boutique.  My client has an existing clothing store and wanted an updated look.  She expressed that she liked traditional glam and wanted that throughout the entire boutique with a soft color palette.  Here is a glimpse at the dressing room concept with an updated damask wallpaper.  The color story is in taupe, cream and brown with silver-leaf finishes.
