Holiday Wreaths

Today I’m thrilled to have Mari from Arcadian Home blog join us for a guest post. Welcome to Stellar’s interior design blog!

Holiday Wreaths: 8 Great Ideas

Hi, all! It’s Mari here from Arcadian Home blog, a fantastic place to find interior design inspiration including great decorating ideas for everything from beautiful mini pendant lights to colorful home accessories. It’s great to be with you at Stellar interior design to share a guest post.

Michele’s recent holiday posts, especially the one called “Chic Christmas Stockings”, inspired today’s topic. Holiday wreaths are beautiful and festive for the season. Here are some of our favorite looks—some enduring designs and some new to us.  Please enjoy!

Holiday Wreath A favorite of many interior design and decorating bloggers, this wreath dressed up in its holiday finery will surely be replicated over and over this year. After all, feathers and this brilliant citrus hue have both been trending during 2013. Holiday Wreath Pairing a wreath and fancy garland as part of fireplace decorations can be stunning for the holidays. Here, both are entwined with tiny lights, while the garland has a centerpiece that includes long pheasant feathers. With such an elaborate mantel treatment table decor has been kept simple in the lovely space. Holiday Wreath Prized for their glossy sheen, magnolia leaves work well with evergreen branches. Here they team up to create a beautifully “undecorated” holiday wreath for the door. Holiday Wreath Moss-covered wreaths with their brilliant hues are very fashionable this year. This one is accented with wire ribbon, pinecones and a single globe ornament in a matching shade of green. Holiday Wreath Unadorned wreaths of greenery can look beautiful hanging inside oval mirrors like this one. It’s a timeless look that can be recreated in any style from traditional to contemporary. Holiday Wreath A lovely wreath of natural dried elements in creamy tones with gold-edged brown velvet ribbon is perfect for the holidays but could be hung at other times of the year as well. Holiday Wreath Red, gold and green are always favored holiday hues. This traditional wreath is gorgeous hung from a wide red ribbon. The fuller the wreath the bigger the wow factor for greeting guests at the front door. Holiday Wreath Lastly, we just have to share this clever and beautiful tassel idea. It’s such a lovely look, especially appealing on this dainty berry wreath. Images 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8  What do you think of these holiday wreath designs? Leave us your thoughts and comments and celebrate your home with more home decor, pendant lighting, and interior inspirations!

Have a wonderful holiday season!

SoCo Collection Costa Mesa

soco[1]

Over the weekend I made a visit to the SoCo Collection Design Center in Costa Mesa, CA.  It’s a little jem of a place for interior designers to go to get inspiration for client projects.  The center is open to the public as well and continues to grow with some of the biggest names in the industry including Stark Carpet and Design Within Reach. The Mix is another part of the center with trendy and unique shops of fashion, art and amazing restaurants. Every Saturday they also have a wonderful Farmers Market that is worth the visit.

Inside The OC Mart Mix you will find shops and dining and discover local talent. The interior design is green with a lot of reclaimed wood, metals and unique lighting fixtures.
